Day 18 - Trap

Inktober 2020

Well that’s it I successfully finished Inktober again this year.

This year I decided to draw a cartoon for each of the prompt words. Here are the 31 prompt words.

I found coming up with a cartoon idea for each word much harder than just doing a drawing based on the word like last year.

I also decided I would also have a go at drawing some “real” ink drawings rather than just resorting to digital images. It’s probably the first time since high school that I’ve used a dip pen. I quite enjoyed doing real art and getting a bit dirty in the process.

Drawing during a pandemic obviously affected some of the content so a few got a bit darker than others. But I can assure you I’m fine and not going through some sort of breakdown.

I also used the time to learn a new software package. Previously I was drawing with Krita and now I’ve started using Clip Studio Paint as it specifically designed for cartoon drawing.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them.
