About me

By day I am a software engineer, I’ve been working in I.T. for over 30 years now. A lot of my cartoons and illustrations are probably influenced by my choice of career.

However I really enjoy drawing as a form of escapism.

I live in Little Bookham, Surrey in the UK. I’m old enough to remember reading the Beano, Dandy and Cheeky comic as a child and Viz as a teenager.

I have been drawing cartoons/illustrations for even longer than I’ve been writing software.

You can see a small selection of the many pieces I have produced over the years on this site.

Drawing on my daily commute alleviated the boredom and inspired the cartoons in the book I made.

I draw with pencil / paper / ink or directly to digital depending on the piece and where I’m sitting 🙂 .
